L I G H T knows an old house best. The way afternoon sun moves through original glass, throws leaf-shadows across a plaster wall, warms a floorboard laid a hundred years ago — this is what a home with good bones already possesses, and what most renovations quietly destroy. Our work is to protect it, and to build in its favor.
We are a husband-and-wife design-build practice devoted to reviving old houses with the materials and methods they were born from — hand-troweled lime plaster, old-growth woods given a second life, marbles and limestones that carry their own histories. We design the construction and the rooms as one continuous act of care, so that when the work is done the house feels not renovated, but remembered. If this way of building speaks to you, we would love to hear about your home.
The Craft
Whole-Home Revival
Complete renovations of houses with good bones — restoring proportion, light, and original detail while quietly renewing everything within the walls.
Time-Honored Building
Lime plaster laid by hand, holding light the way only plaster can. Reclaimed oak re-milled for floors and casework. Antique marble and limestone, sourced with patience, placed with intention.
Interiors & Decoration
The rooms are designed alongside the construction — palette, furnishing, and finish conceived from the first drawing, so the home is whole when we leave it.

Her confidence and decisiveness, complemented by her attentiveness and receptivity to her client's needs, make her an incredible asset to anyone looking for a fresher, more functional home. In only a few hours she transformed my home. Her design aesthetic is very intuitive; combined with her passion and extraordinary talent she is a master of her craft.
